Sergio Batista's Argentina team continued training today in Buenos Aires, in preparation for the visit of Spain this Tuesday. While there is yet to be an official announcement, 'El Checho' has reportedly decided on 10 of the 11 players who will take the field against the world champions, with one place still being disputed in the middle.

The major area of decision for the interim coach appears to be in the middle of the field. News agency Telam reports that Internacional's Andres D'Alessandro, Real Madrid's Angel Di Maria and Inter's Esteban Cambiasso are battling for the final place in a five-man midfield.

The most likely outcome is that Cambiasso will get the nod in a battling three-man midfield, while D'Alessandro will join Lionel Messi in playing just behind striker Gonzalo Higuain in a fantastic chance for the Copa Libertadores star to prove himself.

Elsewhere a flurry of faces underutilised by former coach Diego Maradona return to the fold. Javier Zanetti and Gabriel Milito enter the Albiceleste defence at right and centre back respectively, while youngster Ever Banega will partner Javier Mascherano and Cambiasso in the centre of the pitch.

Probable Argentina team to face Spain (4-3-2-1)
: Romero; Zanetti, Demichelis, G. Milito, Heinze; Mascherano, Cambiasso, Banega; Messi, D'Alessandro; Higuain.
