Lucas Viatri, the top-scorer of Boca Juniors in the Apertura Championship, will have to present himself at court after a presumed robbery with a firearm.

Both Lucas Viatri and his brother Sebastian were accused of robbing a hairdressing salon in Castelar, Buenos Aires, last March.

After the incident Viatri, who hadn't yet broken into the Boca first team, was detained by the local police.

After the incident, Viatri declared that "they caught me by mistake."

The striker, 21, has scored six goals for Boca Juniors this season, including the winner in the superclasico with River Plate at the Monumental de Nunez.

In May, when he first appeared for the Boca first team, Viatri claimed that he had "nothing to do" with the robbery.

He added that he went through "tough" times when he was detained.

"During those days I asked myself whether I was ever going to get out of jail, and when they were going to release me. I suffered for myself, but much more for my family," he stated.

Viatri affirmed that at all times he was given undivided support by Boca Juniors and the coach of the club's youth categories, Abel Alves.
