Rogerio Ceni's amazing 'Panenka' penalty for Sao Paulo

The Brazilian tucked home a spot-kick in sumptuous style against Corinthians in the Campeonato Paulista semi-finals but could not stop his side from losing
Sao Paulo goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni added another stylish goal to his repertoire when he scored a superb 'Panenka' penalty in a shoot-out against Corinthians.

Ceni, who has netted more than 100 times for his club in a career spanning 21 years, has become a household name throughout the past two decades for his ability from dead-ball situations.

The 40-year-old's latest sumptuous finish came in the semi-final of the Campeonato Paulista against Corinthians, where he stepped up to take the very first penalty of the shoot-out and calmly chipped the ball down the middle past the despairing dive of Cassio.

Ceni was later penalised for stepping off his line too early to save Alexandre Pato's kick, allowing the former AC Milan striker to retake his effort and send Corinthians into the final, but his earlier 'Panenka' was enough to steal the limelight on the night and leave the likes of famous exponents Andrea Pirlo to watch and admire his skill.
