Marin: I would like to see Guardiola coach Brazil
The CBF president has lavished praise upon the 42-year-old, who was reportedly a candidate to replace Mano Menezes as Selecao trainer prior to Luiz Felipe Scolari's appointment
Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) president Jose Maria Marin, has admitted that he would love to see Pep Guardiola coach the Brazil national team in the future. The former Barcelona boss will make his long-awaited return to the game next season when he takes charge of Bayern Munich, but was briefly linked with the Selecao hotseat prior to Luiz Felipe Scolari's appointment.
"I'd like to think Guardiola would bring a lot of experience," Marin told SporTV.
"The few foreign technicians that have come in the past always brought innovations. It is important to have a coach who approaches the game differently.
"Today, you see the game and the physical aspect are very different."
During his four-year spell at Camp Nou, Guardiola won 14 trophies, including three La Liga titles and two Champions Leagues.
