'Ganso won't play for Santos again,' claims majority owner of player's economic rights

The head of the investment company DIS has stated that the relationship between the Brazil international and his club is close to an end after failed contract talks

Despite having a contract with Santos that runs until 2015, Ganso rejected an improved contract offer on July 3, with reports from South America suggesting he was holding out for twice the amount the club were offering.
Sonda claims the player is disillusioned with the side giving more attention to fellow Brazil international Neymar.
"He [Ganso] won't play for Santos again. That's definite," he told Radio Estadao ESPN on Sunday.
"Ganso is annoyed with Santos. They came up with a project for Neymar, but forgot about him."
Santos president Luiz Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro was infuriated by Ganso's refusal to sign an improved contract, telling the newspaper The Tribune that "it would be impossible to offer him a penny more".
The playmaker is currently away on international duty as coach Mano Menezes prepares his side for the London Olympics, but Sonda has surprisingly said that the player could move to another club in the country and not to Europe in the near future.
"Ganso could play for Internacional. I'm negotiating with Santos. He wants to leave, but stay in Brazil for another year," he concluded.
