Dnipro midfielder Giuliano has given a positive response to reports that Gremio are looking to bringing him back to Brazil in 2012, and sees the return as a springboard to making Brazil's London Olympics team later in the year.
The 21-year-old, who lifted the Copa Libertadores with Gremio's arch-rivals Internacional before moving to Ukraine, has been heavily linked with a move to the Tricolor.
A one-year loan deal being mooted as a possibility for the youngster, who has struggled for a regular first-team place with Dnipro.
Speaking about the possibilities of a Gremio switch on Thursday, Giuliano affirmed that an offer has arrived and he would seriously consider it.
"My agent presented me with the enquiries from Gremio, who are interested in signing me. We have barely spoken since then but from that Gremio came in with a serious offer and are working hard to bring me back to Brazil," the player told Globoesporte.
"They have made an official approach which is being considered, now we just need Dnipro to accept. This interest has made me very happy."
Giuliano continued to admit that the principal motivation for a transfer would be to put himself in the eyes of Brazil coach Mano Menezes, and impress in time for the 2012 Olympics.
"It is a great opportunity that I will seriously consider because it is the best way to return to the Selecao, to play in the Olympics and to take part in the biggest games of the year," he explained.
The youngster has made two appearances for the senior national team, and was also a part of the Under-20 side which finished runners-up in the 2009 Youth World Cup.
