CSKA Moscow's Vagner Love agrees deal with Flamengo - report

The Russians are expected to give their answer to Flamengo's proposal shortly, but the player has supposedly accepted the contract terms laid out in Rio
CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love is one step closer to sealing a move to Flamengo, as reports from Brazil suggest that he has agreed personal terms with the Brazilian giants.

The club are still waiting for CSKA to accept an offer believed to be worth around €6 million, but according to Lance the player has agreed a return to the Rio de Janeiro institution which he represented on loan during the 2010 season.

Vagner and Flamengo would have agreed in principle a permanent contract, and as the club's financial vice-president Michel Levy revealed in Wednesday's press conference the response from the Russian club should be known in the coming days.

"The [CSKA] president only resumed his duties on Wednesday. We are awaiting their answer," the director explained.

"I am always an optimist. We really want to have Vagner Love at Flamengo as soon as possible."

Flamengo earlier learnt that their approaches for Thiago Neves were in vain, after a spokesman for Al Hilal confirmed that their offer was not good enough to secure a an agreement.
