Brazilian legend Pele has heaped praise on Santos star Neymar, but stressed the youngster still has plenty of work ahead of him.
At the age of 19, Neymar is already regarded as one of the hottest commodities on the market, and has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Neymar's agent, Wagner Ribeiro, has declared that his charge has all it takes to outshine Barcelona's Lionel Messi in the future, and Pele seems to have the same opinion.
"Neymar can score as easily with his left foot than with his right, unlike Messi, who does not have as much trust in his right foot," he told Globoesporte.
"Even there you can expect that he will be a great player."
Still, Pele has called on Neymar to improve his mental game, as well as his positioning: "I think Neymar needs a bit more maturity. He is worrying too much about playing for the fans.
"One other thing I was talking about, and I think [Santos coach] Muricy Ramalho will remove that vice from him, is that Neymar has become a left winger.
"A player of his quality cannot just stand there," he noted.
