Pick Your Brazil Team

Carlos Dunga and his men’s true credentials will be tested when they go up against one of the most in-form footballing nations at present. Goal.com invites you to pick your starting XI against England…

There are not many bigger matches in international football than Brazil versus England, and on Saturday afternoon fans all around the world will be treated to a prestigious friendly between the two superpowers in Doha.

The Brazilians are being plagued by injury worries though and head coach Carlos Dunga faces an interesting task to puzzle together a squad that's capable of beating the Three Lions.

The Selecao will have to make do without injured defenders Juan, Luisao and Fabio Aurelio, who all withdrew from the squad due to injury.

Furthermore, Manchester City attacker Robinho has been ruled out of the game after lengthy discussions between the Brazilian FA and City manager Mark Hughes.

Dunga’s 23-man squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Julio Cesar (Inter), Doni (AS Roma).

Defenders: Maicon (Inter), Lucio (Inter), Daniel Alves (Barcelona), Naldo (Werder Bremen), Cris (Olympique Lyon), Thiago Silva (Milan)

Midfielders: Michel Bastos (Olympique Lyon), Gilberto Silva (Panathinaikos), Josue (VfL Wolfsburg), Lucas (Liverpool), Felipe Melo (Juventus), Alex (Spartak Moscow), Julio Baptista (AS Roma), Carlos Eduardo (TSG Hoffenheim), Ramires (Benfica), Elano (Galatasaray), Kaka (Real Madrid), Fabio Simplicio (Palermo)

Luis Fabiano (Sevilla), Nilmar (Villarreal), Hulk (FC Porto)

We ask you to leave your choices in the comments feature below using hyphens to separate positions, working from right to left. For example, here is the side that could line up in a 4-4-2 formation:
