Philippe Coutinho Eager To Begin Inter Adventure
The Brazilian starlet is counting the days before his arrival at the San Siro, explaining that he has visited Milan on a couple of occasions and has been impressed with the city and the team…
The Nerazzurri reportedly paid Vasco da Gama around €4 million to secure the teenager's services, but they allowed Coutinho to stay with the Brazilian outfit until June 2010.
“Inter picked me, they followed me and I was happy to say, 'Yes,'” Coutinho told the Corriere dello Sport.
“Other European clubs were after me, but I had no doubts. I have been to Milan a couple of times and I liked it very much.
“I got to know the players and the directors and I can’t wait to begin this new adventure. I know I need to work hard to improve, and gaining experience will be crucial, as well as working in training.
“I am a trequartista who loves to shoot at goal, but I also love helping my team-mates to score.”
