Cruzeiro Confirm Interest In Barueri Striker Fernandinho

Cruzeiro are hoping to rebuild their squad with plenty of quality for next season, and they have set their sights on exciting Barueri striker Fernandinho.
The Belo Horizonte giants have been tracking the player for some time now, and the fact that Traffic poses 70% of the rights of the player increases their chances of snapping him up.
However, if Cruzeiro fail to sign the player, they will look at the possibility of attracting Rafael Coelho to the club from Figueirense.
Rafael Coelho has scored 12 goals in the Brazilian second division, and is expected to join one of Brazil's top clubs next season.
"What we want to do is to sign at least four good players for next year. We are open to conversation," Zeze Perrella, the president of Cruzeiro, affirmed to the club's official website.
Cruzeiro were losing finalists of the 2009 Copa Libertadores, and currently find themselves in thirteenth position of the Brazilian first division.
