CSKA Moscow Track Rubin Kazan Midfielder Sergei Semak - Report
The experienced midfielder could be on his way out of Kazan...
The Russian international previously wore the CSKA shirt from 1994 to 2004 and the Army Club are now desperate to re-sign Semak in order to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season.
Semak has helped Rubin Kazan to two consecutive Russian league titles since joining them in 2008 and his good performances for Rubin have seemingly resulted in the interest of CSKA.
However, it remains to be seen whether Rubin Kazan are willing to let go of Semak. The midfielder is an important first team member at Rubin and they appear to be keen to hold on Semak.
CSKA have already secured the services of Japanese playmaker Keisuke Honda, while attacker Seydou Doumbia will join the club in the summer of 2010.
