According to a report on Dutch TV show Voetbal International, Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow are on the verge of signing Japanese international Keisuke Honda from VVV.
The gifted playmaker has been one of the star players of this year's Eredivisie campaign and his impressive performances resulted in the interest of several big teams.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord were all believed to be keeping tabs on Honda, but the VVV star has now reportedly made the decision to join CSKA.
The report suggests that the Champions League hopefuls have already agreed personal terms with Honda and the transfer could be a done deal by the end of this week.
CSKA Moscow are believed to be ready to pay €9 million for the technically gifted midfielder.
