thumbnail Hello,

Daniel Güiza was not interested in talking about his future after taking a starring role as a substitute in Spain's European Championships semi final win over Russia.

The Mallorca striker came on for Fernando Torres in a move that raised a few eyebrows, but he was effective and netted a superb goal to add to goals from Xavi and David Silva.

Having eased past Russia, Güiza now has his sights set on finally ending Spain's trophy drought when they face Germany in the final on Sunday.

"It is a beautiful moment," he told Spanish television channel, Cuatro. "Now it would be great to win it and for everyone at home."

Cesc Fàbregas lifted the ball over the Russia defence for Güiza to chest down and clip past the keeper, but the striker was more modest about his finish.

"It was a great pass and I had some luck and I am pleased. It helped us win," he said.

Finally, Güiza was asked about his reported move to Fenerbahçe, but he explained that he does not know much about all the rumours.

"I am just focussed on this and am enjoying my time with Spain, he continued. "All I have been doing it working just the same as always and preparing for today."
