Soccerex has announced four more partnerships for the Soccerex Seminar Lagos, taking place between 27-28 September.

Edox have become the official watch supplier for the event, Industrial and General Insurance plc (IGI) has become the official insurance partner, Guinness Nigeria have become the official beer supporter and Porsche will provide transport for attendees at the Seminar.

Guinness Nigeria is a subsidiary of Diageo Plc of the United Kingdom, opening its first brewery in 1962 in Ikeja, the heart of Lagos. Nigeria is now the biggest consumer market in the world for Guinness and the brewery has grown into the biggest Guinness brewery in the world.

Since 1884, Edox Watches has produced leading-technology high-precision timepieces, sticking to the Edox of philosophy of elegance, precision, and technical innovation, enabling them to become over time a leader in precision sports watches on sea and land.

The IGI Group is the largest insurance company in Nigeria and the largest underwriter in West Africa. Operating in 45 branches spread across Nigeria they have established a reputation for excellent delivery of insurance products and services, especially in special risks, such as oil & energy, engineering, aviation, and industrial risk management.

Porsche opened a dealership in the heart of Lagos earlier this year looking to target the nation's fast-growing economy. They join a number of high-end goods producers who are increasingly targeting sub-Saharan Africa as its economic growth starts to dwarf other continents and rich Western countries face an economic slowdown.

Commenting on the announcement, Soccerex Director Daniel Krebs said, “It is fantastic to welcome all of these international brands on board for the Soccerex Seminar Lagos. Each of these brands has an established connection with the West African market and can use the Seminar as a platform to help develop the brand and customer base.”

With the aim of promoting the development of football in West Africa, through providing focused learning and business opportunities, the Soccerex Seminar Lagos will feature a mix of football’s leading decision-makers joining business experts for an in-depth, two-day event made up of a conference, networking and social events.
