"A lot of players have come into the squad and aren't normally used to this level of pressure. So I think we've got to be more than satisfied with the result against Moldova and here.
"If we had someone like a [Wayne] Rooney or a [Daniel] Sturridge, we might have even got the goal we needed.
"I don't think we were that adventurous but it was for them to do that not us.
"I thought in the first half in particular there were quite a few interesting situations in the final third.
"Had we thrown caution to the wind and ended with a 1-0 defeat, I don't think we would have got any thanks for that."
