The Malaga forward praised his side's enthusiasm and desire to improve, and insisted that they will give their all in their match against the world champions on Wednesday


Venezuela striker Salomon Rondon has stated that his team are not afraid of Spain, and will play to win in their upcoming friendly with Vicente del Bosque's men.

Speaking to, the Malaga player underlined the importance of the clash with la Furia Roja for the Vinotinto, and discussed what could make the difference on Wednesday night at La Rosaleda.

"The game
is very important to me. I could not play in the first friendly against Spain in my country before the Copa America due to injury, and now I do not want to miss it for the world. It is a big chance for me and Venezuelan football.

"They [Spain] are the champions of Europe and the world. We, however, do not fear any opponent, no matter who they are.

"The best thing about us is our enthusiasm and desire to improve."

When asked whether his experience in Spain will help him deal with la Furia Roja's defence, the attacker was hopeful:

"It is a small advantage. I will try to use my knowledge to help the team. I have prepared a surprise celebration should I score and would like to show it."

Rondon went on to say that the fact that many of the members from the Venezuela national team play in Spain is a sign that the Vinotinto "are progressing in leaps and bounds".
