Former Feyenoord striker Jhon van Beukering is about to make his debut for Indonesia in a World Cup qualifierJhon van Beukering is looking forward to soon becoming an Indonesian international representative after sorting out issues with his passport.
Although born in the Netherlands, Van Beukering is of Eurasian descent, and has recently given up his Dutch citizenship to play for Indonesia.
"Everything is now settled with my passport...this is a wonderful new experience for me," said van Beukering.
"I am really looking forward to this adventure."
The 28 year-old striker left Feyenoord in March to start training with Indonesian club FC Pelita Jaya in preparation for the 2011/2012 season, and will debut in a World Cup qualifier against Turkmenistan on July 28.
