FIFA World Cup 2018 Inspection Team Praise 'Ideal' Hosts Spain & Portugal
Joint bid could win race...

The Iberian nations have prepared a joint bid for the tournament and are currently being visited by the sport's organising body.
Already, the group - led by Chilean Football Federation president Harold Mayne-Nicholls - have viewed Benfica's 65,647-capacity Estadio da Luz, lauding the bid's stadiums as "ideal sceneries for millions of sports people who follow football on a permanent basis", and will continue their tour over the coming days.
Mayne-Nicholls said: "The Iberian bid has many chances of being elected to organise the football World Cup in 2018 or 2022.
"Our report is going to be very positive because we have observed that they have a great sport, hotel and transport infrastructure, as well as a strong support from their political and sports authorities."
