Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic To Continue Recovery For Serbia Against South Korea
Centre-back building fitness after calf problem...
The centre-back played 45 minutes for his country against Northern Ireland on Saturday, and is building his match fitness after a three-week lay-off.
"We arranged before the game Vidic would play one half. He will also play in the game on Wednesday. Everything is okay," said Serbia coach Raddy Antic, according to Press Association Sport.
Meanwhile, Vidic's United team-mate Jonny Evans was forced to sit out the second half of the Ulstermen's 1-0 defeat after also suffering a calf strain.
"I thought it was only fair to Jonny and Manchester United we got him off," Northern Ireland manager Nigel Worthington said.
"We have iced it so it will be 24 hours before we know what the full extent of the injury is."
