Cesc Fabregas Fancies England To Make World Cup Splash
Cesc knows England are fast-improving but he still expects his native Spain to beat them on Wednesday...
The playmaker expects England to pose a real threat to the European champions and has warned his countrymen that the Three Lions are more potent under Fabio Capello than they have been in recent years.
However, he's still confident that his active colleagues will do the business in Seville.
The Gunners skipper told The Telegraph, "England are a totally different proposition under Capello: very disciplined and hard to score against. Their defenders defend as though they were Italian!
"He has changed them in every respect. Now England are a world class team who will be very tough opponents in the World Cup."
On the game, he said, "It will be a spectacular battle. Fernando Torres and David Villa against John Terry and Rio Ferdinand - brilliant defenders - it's great.
"It will be very hard for me not to play but I think Spain will win. We are European champions and are playing with confidence and belief."
