Fatih Terim open to Serie A return
The former AC Milan and Fiorentina boss has revealed his connection with the country, while talking of his contentment with his side's current form
Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim has refused to rule out making a return to Serie A in the future.
The 59-year-old spoke of his love for Italy having taken charge of AC Milan and Fiorentina earlier in his career and admitted he could coach their again before his career is over.
“Italy is a second home,” he said. “One day I might want to go back."
Gala's next match is against Genclerbirigli on Friday and they will be looking to continue a fine run of form which has seen them score eight goals in their last three league games.
“The team is very happy this season,” Terim told La Repubblica. “We have a big challenge at the moment.”
The Turkish champions are on an eight-match unbeaten run and currently sit five points clear at the top of the division.
The Istanbul club are also in the last 16 of the Champions league and travel to Schalke on Tuesday after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
