Sneijder: Drogba is one of the best in the world

The Dutchman is looking forward to teaming up with his new Galatasaray team-mate after both stars sealed January switches to the Turk Telekom Arena
Wesley Sneijder has hailed his new Galatasaray team-mate Didier Drogba as one of the best strikers in the game in the wake of the Ivorian's move to the club. Both players sealed transfers to the Turk Telekom Arena earlier this month, and the Dutchman is looking forward to teaming up with the Chelsea legend.
"Drogba is one of the world's best strikers," he was quoted as saying by Sporx.
"We will have some good times here. We're one of the biggest teams in Europe. His quality and experience will take us forward to winning matches and he will be a great help to us."
Sneijder made his debut in the 2-1 win over Besiktas last Sunday having not played for four months, but is confident of reaching top fitness soon.
"It was not easy to player a match against after such a long break," he continued.
"It was something like two months ago that I last played, and I was only on the pitch for 25 minutes. Perhaps in the next one, it will be 35 minutes, then more the one after.
"I think I will reach 100 per cent shortly, though."
Meanwhile, Felipe Melo has received a four-match ban for spitting at Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup during last week's derby.
