The Bianconeri midfielder has insisted that he did not mean to offend the Istanbul side's hierarchy when he vented his frustration over his move to Istanbul breaking down
The Brazil international was integral for the Istanbul giants while on loan as they won the Super Lig title last season, scoring 12 goals in 36 appearances.
Such form led many to believe his stay would become permanent during this transfer window, but disagreements over his transfer fee stopped a deal from being completed.
Melo was quick to air his criticism of the Turkish club after his transfer broke down, but has since deleted the offending Tweet and issued a lengthy apology.
"Hi GS [Galatsaray] fans, thanks again for your lovely messages. You are all wonderful! Just to say that one of my old tweets was not correctly interpreted.
"I meant that the situation was a bit childish. I didn't want to attack or offend anybody. Most of all the president, who is a great person that always have helped me and have been on my side together with [Fatih] Terim.
"I was frustrated and sad as my desire of wearing the GS shirt was not reaching a good conclusion. Sorry if someone felt offended. Love you all!"
Juventus have signed a number of midfielders already in the current transfer window, including Kwadwo Asamoah, Paul Pogba and Maurucio Isla, which suggests Melo is not part of their plans for next season.
The midfielder has been linked with a move to Napoli and Spartak Moscow since his transfer to the Turk Telekom Arena collapsed.
