The Galatasaray star will be out of action a bit longer...

Turkish titans Galatasaray have received some disturbing news from the treatment table in the build-up toward the upcoming Turkcell Super Lig clash against Gaziantepspor on 24 January.

Highly rated attacker Milan Baros will miss the first league game after the winter break after the Czech Republic international has made the decision to undergo another operation in order to shake off a foot injury.

The 28-year-old Baros broke the second and third metatarsal bones in his left foot in the match against Fenerbahce back in October 2009 and was initially expected to be sidelined for at least two months.

However, the new surgery means that Baros will be out of action for yet another month. The former Liverpool forward will not only miss several league games due to the recovery setback, but is also doubtful for the Europa League clash against Atletico Madrid on 18 February.

After the match, I took to Facebook and Twitter again to get some fan reaction. Lets take a look at what our readers have to say:

Joel Peeperkoorn feels that Arsenal should rest their big guns in the second leg, saying: “There's no way we can beat Milan by five goals."

Jez Cook, however, takes a different perspective, singing himself back to positivity: “FIVE FOUR we're gunna win five four we're gunna win five four we're gunna win five four ....FIVE FOUR we're gunna win five four we're gunna win five four we're gunna win five four ...FIVE FOUR - just keep repeating it.”

Well, you have to admire his fighting spirit...

Stat time again, folks, as we can reveal that tonight is Milan's biggest ever win the Champions League, while it is Arsenal's biggest ever loss in the competition!

Incidentally, no team has ever progressed in Europe after losing the first leg by such a heavy deficit.
