Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce are closely monitoring the situation of Benfica's Argentinian attacker Javier Saviola, according to a report in Fanatik.
The Turkcell Super Lig side aren't too happy with the performances of Spanish hitman Daniel Guiza and are therefore in the market for a new striker.
Head coach Christoph Daum is believed to be a keen admirer of Saviola and has reportedly made the former Real Madrid and Barcelona player one of his primary targets on the transfer market.
The 28-year-old attacker has quickly developed into an important first team player for the Lisbon side since joining them last summer, and Benfica are expected to be reluctant to let go of Saviola.
However, they could be tempted to cash in on the forward if a good offer comes in. They recently signed Brazilian attackers Alan Kardec and Eder Luis to add more depth to their attack.
