Official: Ankaragucu Sign Geremi From Newcastle United
The Cameroonian international has left England for a Turkish adventure...
The highly rated midfielder appeared not be in Newcastle manager Chris Hughton's long-term plans and had made only nine appearances in all competitions this season with the Championship outfit.
Ankaragucu are struggling to find their best form this term, and recently-appointed head coach Roger Lemerre was eager to add some more experience to his squad.
The 31-year-old Geremi previously enjoyed a successful spell in Turkey at Genclerbirligi before making the move to Real Madrid in 1999. He has also played for Middlesbrough and Chelsea.
