According to a report in Fanatik, the Turkish Football Association (TFF) has set its sights on current Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni as the new head coach of Turkey's national team.
Turkey are looking for a new boss ever since previous coach Fatih Terim resigned following Turkey's failure to qualify for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
They were previously linked with other high profile names such as Guus Hiddink (Russia) and Joachim Loew (Germany), but both coaches made the decision not to leave their current job for a Turkish adventure.
The report suggests that Turkey have already approached Trapattoni, but the Italian gaffer made it clear that he needs more time to think about his future.
