Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce are considering making a move for Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Somen Tchoyi, according to a report in Austrian newspaper Kurier.

Fenerbahce coach Christoph Daum (pictured) is expected to offload a number of players who were involved in a sex-scandal earlier this month and the German gaffer reportedly sees Tchoyi as a useful addition to keep his squad up to strength.

The Cameroonian midfielder has developed into one of the star players at Salzburg since joining them from Stabaek in 2008 and played a major role in his side's league title last term.

The 26-year-old Tchoyi's current deal at the Austrian powerhouse is due to expire in the summer of 2011. Red Bull are reluctant to let go of the Cameroonian international, but they could be tempted to cash in on Tchoyi if an offer in the region of €4 million comes in.
