Maniche has been a free agent since being released from Atletico Madrid in May, with reports indicating a return to Porto, where he was very successful, as a possibility.
However, according to news daily A BOLA, the former Chelsea loanee has agreed to team up with Ankaragucu, who finished 13th in the Turkish league.
The club, now reportedly controlled by a local millionaire, are to make a serious investment in the football team to mount a serious challenge in the league and play in European competitions.
According to reports, Maniche will sign a three-year contract with Ankaragucu, earning €2,5 million per season at the Ankara 19 Mayis.
