Eriksen: I want to leave Ajax at the right moment
The gifted midfielder is continually being linked with a move away from his current club, but he is not desperate to leave the Amsterdam Arena
Christian Eriksen has stated that he would be open to a move to England, Germany, Italy or Spain, but has stressed that he is in no rush to leave Ajax and will only move on at the right moment.Goal.com recently revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have made an enquiry for the Denmark international, while he has also been linked with Manchester United, Liverpool and several Serie A sides in the past few months.
"I think that my future lies in England, Germany, Italy or Spain. These are the competitions that I like. I will leave Ajax at one point, but I want to leave at the right moment and in the right way," Eriksen told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I do not know what I will do in a few months' time yet, but I want to leave my mark before moving on. The Europa League final in our own stadium would be a good opportunity for that.
"I have learned a lot here and I don't want to leave with empty hands. I want to win something and then move on."
Eriksen, 20, has a contract with Ajax until June 2014, and he recently told Ajax that he is not currently interested in opening talks over an extension.
