Van Marwijk: I cannot rule out retirement

The former Oranje boss has made it clear that he will not make a decision on his future anytime soon, and hinted that he could even quit coaching completely

The 60-year-old threw in the towel as head coach after Oranje lost all three group games at Euro 2012, despite going into the tournament as one of the favourites to lift the trophy.
"I have received some interesting offers in the past few weeks," Van Marwijk stated to Spits. "I don't have any obligations at the moment, though, and I'm enjoying the freedom, so I'm not up for a new job now.
"I might return to coaching in a month, but I could also retire from coaching completely. I'm not ruling out that option.
"There's a big chance that I'll return to coaching, but I simply don't know when and where."
Van Marwijk started his professional coaching career at Fortuna Sittard in 1998, and also enjoyed spells at Feyenoord and Borussia Dortmund before accepting the job as Oranjeboss in 2008.

Bayern have arrived at Wembley! The legendary Lothar Mattheus will obviously be cheering on die Roten this evening, but he is just hoping that Fussball is the winner tonight:

Unfortunately, there were reports of some clashes between rival sets of fans earlier in the day, but, happily, the atmosphere at the ground is wonderfully good-natured.

Former Dortmund goalkeeper Jens Lehmann was present at the Champions League festival earlier and he is tipping his former side for the title: "I think Bayern are a little stronger but if I was to have a bet, I would bet on Dortmund because that would win me more money!"

Dortmund are keen: They've already arrived at Wembley. Former Dortmund defender Christoph Metzelder can understand his old side's desire to get to the ground as early as possible. "This is the most horrible time ahead of the match," he told Sky Germany. "The tension is huge on the way to the stadium until you can finally warm-up and get on the pitch."
However, former Bayern boss Ottmar Hitzfeld says it doesn't matter when Dortmund arrive, they're still not going to lift the Champions League tonight: "Bayern has to win the title; it's just their time. They won't let a third final in four years slip away from them."
