Feyenoord's Mario Been delighted with win over PSV

Feyenoord tactician was pleased with his side's win over their rivals and stated that the victory was fully deserved
Feyenoord put in an impressive performance in the home match against PSV on Sunday afternoon and the Stadionclub eventually recorded a 3-1 home win, much to the delight of head coach Mario Been.

"The referee's decision to dismiss [PSV midfielder Orlando] Engelaar was perhaps a bit harsh. We didn't win the game because of that red card though. We outplayed PSV in every area of the game," Been said on Feyenoord's official website.

Been then took the time to praise some individual players and was particularly pleased with the performance of his midfielders.

"Leroy Fer was very strong in midfield and won a lot of important challenges. Marcel Meeuwis also deserves some credit. He intercepted a lot of balls and is very important to keep this team together."

Feyenoord currently sit 10th in the league table with 43 points from 32 games and can still qualify for the end-of-season play-offs.
