Feyenoord coach Mario Been has voiced his frustration with the ongoing injury problems of highly rated attacker Sekou Cisse.
"He can't do anything at the moment due to injury and is just doing nothing. I really don't know where this is going. It just goes on and on without really working toward full recovery," Been said to Voetbal International.
"I have a lot of faith in Sekou, but he just doesn't get fit enough to play. This is a very sad situation, not only for the player, but also for Feyenoord.
"All I can do right now is hope that he resumes squad training again very soon and that he can play matches again. I'm still confident that there will come a day where we see the real Sekou Cisse wearing the Feyenoord jersey."
The 25-year-old joined Feyenoord from Roda in the summer of 2009 and has since made only 25 Eredivisie appearances for the Rotterdam side due to a number of injuries.
