Reigning Eredivisie champions Twente have received some disappointing news from the treatment table in the build-up to the league clash at home to domestic rivals Ajax on Saturday evening.
Head coach Michel Preud'homme may well have to make do without highly rated attacker Marc Janko when the Tukkers take on the Amsterdam side as the Austrian international has picked up a knee injury.
The former Red Bull Salzburg striker missed the 4-1 KNVB Beker win against Capelle due to the injury and a report in De Telegraaf suggests that he won't be able to participate in Thursday's regular training session.
Janko is expected to undergo a fitness test on Saturday before Twente make a decision about whether the striker will play or not.
Preud'homme is expected to give South Africa international Bernard Parker the nod up front in the event that Janko doesn't make it in time.
