Head coach Mario Been will be relieved to hear that highly rated midfielder Karim el Ahmadi has resumed regular training action on Tuesday after being forced to miss several sessions due to a hip injury.
El Ahmadi picked up the injury in his side's 1-1 draw against Heracles well over two weeks ago. The Morocco international has now shaken off the knock and has returned to squad training.
Been opted to give young midfielder Kelvin Leerdam the chance to prove his worth during El Ahmadi's absence, but the former Twente midfielder is expected to return to the starting XI for this weekend's match.
