Feyenoord Ready To Cash In On Luigi Bruins - Report
The Rotterdam side have told Bruins that he's no longer needed...
Attacking midfielder Luigi Bruins appears to be on his way out of De Kuip after Feyenoord told the technically gifted midfielder that he's no longer needed in Rotterdam.
"We have been told that Luigi is surplus to requirements. Feyenoord are ready to farm him out on loan or to part company with him on a permanent basis," said Bruins' agent Sietje Mouch to Sportweek.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined Feyenoord from Excelsior in the summer of 2007 and made an impressive start to life at his new club. However, he has lost his spot in the starting XI under new head coach Mario Been and is finding regular first team action hard to come by this season.
Bruins is being linked with Eredivisie sides such as Groningen, ADO Den Haag and VVV Venlo, but none of the aforementioned clubs have approached Feyenoord thus far.
