Young playmaker Luigi Bruins could be on his way out of Feyenoord in the upcoming winter transfer window after the player's agent, Sietje Mouch, has made it clear that it would be best for Bruins to leave the Rotterdam side on a loan deal.

"Luigi desperately wants to succeed at Feyenoord and he has the quality to do so. He needs to up his game if he is to make it at Feyenoord though and he knows that," said Mouch to Sportweek.

"We know that head coach Mario Been is eager to hold on to all his players in January. However, it's probably better for Luigi to leave on a loan deal if he doesn't get more first team action after the winter break."

The 22-year-old Bruins joined Feyenoord from Excelsion in the summer of 2007 and has since made 60 league appearances for the Stadionclub, scoring seven goals.
