Feyenoord After Wolfsburg Defender Peter Pekarik - Report
The Slovakian international has apparently attracted the interest of Feyenoord...
According to some reports from Slovakia, highly rated Wolfsburg defender Peter Pekarik has attracted the interest of Eredivisie powerhouse Feyenoord.
Pekarik joined the Wolfe from MSK Zilina in January 2009, but fhe full-back is finding regular first team action hard to come by under new head coach Armin Veh.
Therefore, the Slovakian international could be tempted to leave the reigning Bundesliga champions again in order not to endanger his spot in Slovakia's World Cup squad.
Feyenoord face stiff competition in the race for Pekarik's signature though. Ajax and Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be keeping tabs on the defender.
Pekarik 's current Wolfsburg deal is due to expire in the summer of 2013, meaning that the Wolfe probably won't let go of the defender on the cheap.
