Mexican outfit Pachuca have completed the transfer of Ajax forward Dario Cvitanich. Pachuca had already announced the transfer earlier this week and Ajax have now confirmed the deal.

The 25-year-old attacker arrived at Ajax in the summer of 2008, but failed to make an impact with the Amsterdam side. He was surplus to requirements at the Amsterdam ArenA following the arrival of Marko Pantelic earlier this year.

Cvitanich has signed a one-year loan deal with the Mexican side and joins his new club on January 1, 2010. Pachuca will pay Ajax a reported fee of €750,000 for the attacker's services and have the option to make the deal a permanent one for €3.8 million.

"I'm desperate to return to match action again and I'm keen to prove my worth at Pachuca. I just want regular first team football," said Cvitanich to Voetbal International.
