VVV Join Race For Cerezo Osaka Youngster Shinji Kagawa
The young Japanese midfielder could be on his way to Europe...
The Dutch side are widely expected to cash in on star player Keisuke Honda (pictured) in the not so distant future and they reportedly see the 20-year-old Kagawa as the perfect replacement.
The attacking midfielder has been in superb form this season having scored 27 goals in 44 appearances, and VVV are believed to have made an offer for Kagawa already.
However, the Venlo side face stiff competition in the race for the highly rated youngster's signature.
Kagawa was already being linked with European powerhouses Barcelona and Real Madrid last summer and Bundesliga outfits Schalke, Hamburger SV and Borussia Dortmund are all keeping tabs on the midfielder, too.
