Three-Match Ban For Feyenoord Defender Aleksandr Ignjatovic
The Serbian defender has been slapped with a three-match ban...
Serbian defender Aleksandr Ignjatovic will have to wait for his official Feyenoord debut a bit longer after the Dutch FA (KNVB) suspended the youngster for three games.
The 21-year-old participated in Jong Feyenoord's 2-1 league loss against Jong NEC on Monday evening and got his marching orders after headbutting an opponent.
The KNVB opted to punish Ignjatovic with a three.match ban for his ungentlemanly conduct. Additionally, he will have to watch an extra match from the stands if he gets dismissed again in the next twelve months.
The towering defender joined Feyenoord from Serbian side Borac Cacak on a one-season loan deal, but Ignjatovic has mainly been playing for the reserves so far.
