Serbian midfielder Stefan Babovic left French side Nantes for an adventure at Eredivisie giants Feyenoord last summer and even though he has yet to make an impact at the Rotterdam powerhouse, Babovic is delighted to be in Holland.
"Of course, I am quite ambitious. But why should I leave this club for Barcelona or Milan or any other big team? I really enjoy playing for Feyenoord," Babovic said on the club's official website.
"I want to help Feyenoord back to the top of the Eredivisie table and play Champions League football here. I have every reason to be proud if I can one day say that I've played Champions League football with Feyenoord.
"I'm not sure yet whether Feyenoord will make my stay here permanently and I think about it a lot. I don't want to leave this club. I really care for the team, the fans and everybody around Feyenoord. I will do my utmost to make sure I can stay here."
The 22-year-old midfielder has made only three league appearances so far for Feyenoord.
