According to a report in Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, Eredivisie giants Ajax are on the verge of signing promising youngster Nicolai Boilesen from Brondby IF.
"I'm glad that a decision has been made about my future. It's a huge challenge for me to join Ajax and I'm really looking forward to it," the defender was quoted as saying.
The 17-year-old defender has reportedly already agreed personal terms with Ajax, but the Dutch side have yet to reach an agreement with Brondby about compensation for Boilesen.
The transfer is expected to be finalised by the end of the week and Boilesen will join Ajax on January 1.
