Ajax To Face AZ Without Ismail Aissati
The young playmaker has been ruled out of the game due to injury...
Eredivisie giants Ajax have received some distressing news from the treatment table in the build-up toward today's league clash against reigning champions AZ.
Head coach Martin Jol will have to make do without young playmaker Ismail Aissati. A report on the club's official website stated that the former PSV starlet has picked up a muscle injury and was left out of the match squad.
The 21-year-old joined Ajax from PSV in the summer of 2008, but a string of injuries has prevented Aissati from making an impact at the Amsterdam powerhouse so far.
Ajax currently sit third in the table with 23 points from ten games, while AZ are in eighth spot with 15 points from ten matches.
The highly anticipated Eredivisie game kicks-off at 14:30 CET at the DSB Stadium.
