Amsterdam outfit Ajax ended newly promoted VVV's unbeaten run with a 4-0 away win on Sunday afternoon. The 'Man Of The Match' was captain Luis Suarez, who netted four goals.
However, head coach Martin Jol made it clear in the post-match press conference that he was not too impressed with the attacker's performance, despite his four goals.
"Luis Suarez did not even play an extraordinary match against VVV, but he still managed to score four goals. That pretty much says it all when it comes to his class," started Jol after the match.
"We put in a good performance during the first twenty minutes but it went downward from there on. VVV appeared to be the dominating side after the break but we never really got into serious trouble. I am a bit disappointed with our performance, though."
Ajax sit third in the table at the moment with sixteen points from seven games. Suarez has scored ten league goals for them this term and also scored four goals in three Europa League matches.
