Darren Fletcher targets increased first-team action after return to fitness
The Scotland midfielder is excited about the possibility of returning to regular involvement at Manchester United, whilst accepting that it will be difficult to break through
Darren Fletcher is excited at the prospect of stepping up his return to the Manchester United first-team squad as he continues his rehabilitation from ulcerative colitis.
The Scotland international has slowly been regaining his fitness with appearances in the League Cup, Champions League and for the Under-21s squad.

However, the midfielder realises that he must prove his worth to the first team if he is to regain a more regular starting berth.
Fletcher told MUTV: "It's what it's all about, getting as many games as possible.
"I know the manager has got such a big squad now, especially in the midfield area, and there is a lot of competition for places.
"I have to be patient and wait for my chances but, hopefully, one will come around sooner rather than later.
"I think my general fitness is fine, it's just match fitness - the sharpness, reaction times, things in your head and things like that.
"The positional sense, when you're a little bit older, comes back to you fairly quickly."
