Stuart Pearce makes three changes after seeing his side stumble to a draw against Senegal in their opening Group A game at London 2012

Team GB manager Stuart Pearce has made three changes ahead of his side's Olympics Group A showdown with the UAE at Wembley on Sunday evening.

Chelsea full-back Ryan Bertrand has dropped out of the starting XI which drew with Senegal at Old Trafford and has been replaced by West Ham youngster James Tomkins - meaning Manchester City defender Micah Richards will switch to right-back.

Wales captain Aaron Ramsay makes his first start of the tournament, after coming off the bench on Thursday, replacing Tottenham's Danny Rose, with skipper Ryan Giggs expected to move across to the left wing.

Elsewhere, Bolton forward Marvin Sordell comes in for Danny Sturridge, who he replaced as a substitute during Team GB's last fixture.

Team GB starting XI:
Butland; Richards, Caulker, Tomkins, Taylor; Cleverley, Ramsey, Allen, Giggs; Bellamy, Sordell
