What a show we have in store for you this week! Layla Anna-Lee's back to bring you all the latest from the world of football with goals, movie stars and a Ukrainian powerhouse!
First up, Andrei Shevchenko, announced his retirement last week as one of European football's most deadly strikers hung up his boots following an emotional - not to mention highly impressive - performance at Euro 2012.
Will the former Milan and Chelsea forward turn to coaching? No. Has he gone all Leonardo to sit in the directors box? Nope, he's opted for POLITCS! And in honour of the legendary Ukrainian we take a look at which footballers could be ideally suited to join his cabinet, because we're just that thoughtful. Don't mention it, Sheva.
Now Tom Hanks has done it all. He's ran like no other man has run before, he's even been stranded on a desert island, the poor guy couldn't even sleep in Seattle... and now the Aston Villa fan - yes, he really is a Villa fan - has backed his side ahead of the new season, admitting he has "high hopes" for Paul Lambert's side. Good on yah, Tom.
