64% of supporters following Joachim Low's side are also of the opinion that La Roja represent their biggest challengers to win the Euro 2012 crown

Spain may face a tricky quarter-final against rance on Saturday night but La Roja fans think the biggest obstacle to retainig their European crown will be Germany.

Nearly two thirds (65%) rate Joachim Low's side as their most feared opponents at Euro 2012 and the feeling is certainly mutual, with a similar number of die Mannschaft followers believing Vicente del Bosque's men are the biggest threat.

And England's renaissance under Roy Hodgson hasn't gone unnoticed, with football supporters across Europe now 5% more fearful of the Three Lions after they topped Group D, with 4% more scared of France - despite Laurent Blanc's men losing to Sweden in their last game.

French fans are the only supporters who are confident their team will knock out Spain in the quarters and the majority of them believe they will face Germany in the final on July 1.
    
Since the group stage, there has been a 13% increase in England fans who would opt for Spain to win the Euros if the Three Lions exit the competition.
    
Roy Hodgson's men take on the Azzurri on Sunday, but only 1% of Italian supporters in the survey fear their British opponents, with fans more concerned with a possible semi-final meeting with Germany.

Joachim Low's men are not only the team the Italians most fear (52%), they are also the side they most want to beat (32%).
